Best DVD/Blu Ray Drive Peripheral for Mac to put Movies on Plex

Plex Dashboard Bandwidth Data Historical View Never Works

As the title indicates, every time I look up historical (12 hours, 24 hours, 7 days, 30 days, 90 days, year, all time) I get a flash of the data in the graph and then it almost immediately reverts to real-time data. I can never get it to stay on the requested historical data. This happens in two separate Plex server installations installed on two different devices. Plex is Amazing!

I have only just discovered Plex and I am absolutely amazed! It must be one of the greatest apps ever. Certainly for me. I have just downloaded the Butler add-in from Github which is also pretty good and adds to the enjoyment of using Plex. In that app, there is an option to share and to download the libraries from other people's Plex servers. I got hacked and now PMS is behaving differently

Last week, someone in another country logged into my plex account. I had the password changed within minutes. This is a frequently asked question, however in my case, I am using a hisense u8h tv and playing the content in the plex app in the tv does make the TV show dolby vision in the picture menu. Changing the tint all the way to the left somehow fixes the issue a bit, at the expense of unreliable green colors, and I couldn't find a better option. The content i tried is profile 8, not 5 or 7. I've found a couple of movies that are struggling to play on my SONY Android TV. They just keep stuttering. Wondering if someone could please help. Hi all—hope you can give me some advice for this annoying issue. I have an HDHomerun Flex 4k, OTA antenna and Plex server through a Mac Mini. I save my OTA recordings onto an NVMe external drive. Super high CPU usage for one audio transcode?

Hi everyone Just noticed this transcode happening while checking the dashboard. Using a ugreen NAS with an gen12 i5 CPU and usually the CPU hardly ever hits 10% utilization even with multiple streams at the same time. For this particular stream though it almost reaches 60% while just transcoding audio and subs. Also seems not to be using hardware transcoding. What are the problems of using an nvidia shield pro for plex?

Hello, I have an LG C3 oled dolby vision TV and a Dolby Atmos system. I understand that the Nvidia Shield Pro (2019!) is capable of playing everything and I wanted to use it as a plex client on my tv. That said, what are the known problems with this media player? Plex downloads are super handy

Just did a trip with my family and put a few movies on the laptop for movie night in the trailer, transcodes down to 720p because that's all the dinky little trailer screen can do anyway. Server Not Available Outside Your Network with New Server Update (Windows)

Had this error randomly come up and for the life of me couldnt figure out why it was coming up. After a bunch of troubleshooting and reconfiguring router I realized that the issue is that the new update changed the media server app and my VPN was still holding on to the old version of the APP so the new version was going through the VPN instead of through my ISP IP.
